Project Manager
Salary Range : RMB$400,000- $500,000K per annum
Locations: Beijing, China
Requirement:
• BS/BA degree or equivalent plus 10+ years related experience in networking/telecommunications industry OR min 4-5 years managing LAN and/or WAN network implementation and support
• 7+ years in a Clearly defined Senior Project Management role
• Requires professional PM certification , ESi, PMP or equivalent. Project/Program Management experience in the deployment of leading edge, multi-vendor technologies in a highly complex commercial environment.
• Professional project management training credentials (PMI)
• Basic knowledge of routing, routing protocols, switching, internet and sound knowledge of general network architecture
• Leadership skills and experience working with large project teams and strategic account teams.
• Understanding of the sales process including risk assessment and scoping
• Thorough understanding of the legal issues with contracts
• Advanced negotiation and presentation skills Understands the organization, aims and processes
Job Description
• Ensure the success of customer deployments, managing the planning and execution of optimization efforts, and coordinating the interaction of internal, partner and customer resources toward the completion of key services projects.
• A strong knowledge of Cisco technologies and solutions, as well as an ability to effectively manage projects, timelines, budgets and resources.
• Extensive industry experience and is comfortable working in a cross-functional team environment that is global in reach.
• Manages large or strategic customer facing projects or multiple projects or takes a business management role in an large or strategic account or group of accounts.
• Create a project schedule and plan with financial, resource and material requirements Develops and presents proposals and negotiates final agreements
• Directs project staff including project engineers, vendors, partners or subcontractors. Manages the project from start to completion including the resolution of escalated project issues Accountable for the Project Budget Presents service business value to customers for new or existing business Influences the customer in the assessment, planning and management of complex network projects.
• Manage complex internal projects/programs within Cisco May Program Manage ongoing optimization service to deployed customer networks
• Provides leadership to the Program Management Community to further develop the PM/PGM role, processes and operations.
• Operate in a Business Development capacity for new customers/markets/services May carry responsibilities of team leadership
