Position: Infrastructure Analyst – Store Systems Support
Location: Shanghai
Reports to: Senior Manger, Store Systems
The Store System Infrastructure Support Analyst will be responsible for
• Responsible for application partner and business partner communications/project coordination
• Weekly updates of project plans and status reports
• Configuring, implementing and maintaining company Store wide area and local area networks.
• Coordinating third-party support for company Store network installations.
• Providing second-level support for network and CS2000 application – Help Desk escalation calls; including on-call (off-hour) support.
• Escalating to third-party support, ensuring vendor compliance to service level agreements.
• Researching, testing and implementing server and network equipment.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting server and network performance.
• Assisting with Corporate and Store projects and support as required.
• Engage with Technology Services group on Architecture, design, operational metrics, and Tier 3 support.
This position will be specifically responsible for the following activities:
• Work with internal and external groups to establish and address root-cause analysis of issues
• Ensure contributing opening/closing/re-locating stores (system infrastructure setup and vendor coordination)
• Participate in various phases of projects impacting stores particularly around system deployment requiring support discussion.
• Be the front line of IS department in terms of store related activities such as project, initiative planning, issue resolution
• Closely monitoring 3rd party 1st level support for day-to-day store operation support
• Ensure stores’ backend servers are well in order and well connected to store network, with 3rd party vendor and/or tech services support as and when necessary
• Evaluate and work closely with Store & Retail Systems Manager for future improvements and/or systems enhancement
• Visit stores as necessary for ensuring the system setup
• Take escalation calls for off business hours (including holidays) as rotation within Store Systems team
Required Skills/Experiences
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related experience preferred
• 5-7 years technical work experience
• Industry recognized certifications preferred (CCNE, CCNA, MSCE) In-depth understanding of local and wide area network concepts – IP routing protocols and topologies (OSPF, BGP, MPLS), switching technologies, VLANs
• In-depth knowledge of Cisco equipment and operating systems, including configuration of routers, switches, and wireless networks (802.11x)
• In-depth experience with network security, including network firewalls, and intrusion detection
• In-depth experience of Windows 2003 Server
• Working knowledge of Citrix Presentation Server
• Strong knowledge and troubleshooting of TCP/IP, WINS, DHCP, DNS, and Microsoft Browsing
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Internet Information Services
• Working knowledge of NT Active Directory Services
• Hands on experience with configuring HP Proliant hardware
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Proven track record of success
• Strong communication skills both in Chinese and English.
• Experience in partnering with business users and other IS team members to design and implement store system operation & support process
• Adaptable and flexible person
• Person who has a strong sense of responsibilities and ownership
