Position: Analyst, Applications – Store Systems Support
Location: Shanghai
Reports to: Senior Manger, Store Systems
The Store System Operation & Support team will be responsible for
• Supporting POS day-to-day operation, including stores’ proper day-end procedures, reporting and promotions
• Supporting company growth initiatives (Distribution, re-open, closure, Pop-up and Off Store event etc) and introducing necessary systems in a timely manner
• Closely monitoring 1st level support by 3rd party Store Helpdesk vendor from start to finish
• Acting as/Managing 2nd level support for Store (escalated from 1st level support)
• Taking escalation calls for off business hours (including holidays) as rotation within Store Systems team
• Contributing and working closely with Store & Retail Systems Manager for future improvements and/or systems enhancement
This position will be specifically responsible for the following activities:
• Ensure both stores’ backend and frontend applications are well in order, with software vendor support as and when necessary
• Support and enhance POS operational reports
• Act as backup resource and share workload with Infrastructure Analyst when necessary
Required Skills/Experiences
• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum 3 years of experience of system support for end users
• IS On-site/Off-site helpdesks (including remote support) experiences
• In-depth knowledge of Retail Business (including Department Store Business) is plus
• Strong communication skills both in Chinese and English. Experience in partnering with business users and other IS team members to design and implement store system operation & support process
• Adaptable and flexible person
• Person who has a strong sense of responsibilities and ownership
Desired Skills
• CS2000 POS system
• SQL, VB
• Cisco router / firewall / VPN
• Microsoft servers - SQL, IIS, FTP
• Citrix
• Minimum of 3 years Store System experience including testing
• Knowledge of Retail back office functions / systems is plus
