Fan Zhang is behind the success of Baidu, KongZhong, and Focus Media,
all three successfully went IPO on NASDAQ within the last two years, with current combined market cap of over $4 Billion. Prior to joining
Sequoia Capital China last year, Fan was with DFJ ePlanet Ventures. Fan holds an MBA and a BA from Stanford University. He also attended
Tsinghua University before coming to Stanford. Fan was named one of the "Top 10 Most Active Venture Capitalists" in 2004 and 2005 by zero2ipo, the leading venture capital consulting and research firm in China.
