For our client, a medium-sized company with headquarter in Germany, we are looking for a dedicated and qualified
General Manager
for the location in Shanghai, China.
The company has specialized in the galvanic anti-corrosion protection of metal parts and offers advanced surface technology with the most modern systems engineering. It is one of the leading suppliers in this area and a reliable partner of the automotive industry. The customers consist predominantly of automobile manufacturers and their first and second tier suppliers.
Your tasks:
- Building up of the Representative Office in Shanghai, China and the business unit advanced surface treatment
- Customer care
- Acquisition of new customers
- Marketing- and sales activities
Your qualifications:
- Degree in chemical engineering or other chemistry related fields
- Several years experience in Sales in the automotive industry
- Convincing personality with positive appearance
- Very good analytical skills
- Negotiating skills, ability to communicate, and organizational skills
- Linguistic proficiency in Chinese (fluent) and English (fluent) are prerequisite
- Knowledge of German would be advantageous
- Good knowledge with all MS-Office applications and Internet
