Responsibilities
-To perform technical support for BigBand Networks customers
-Take customer phone calls with respect to product issues and assist them remotely to quickly resolve outages
-To perform maintenance and upgrades of customer systems
-To record accurately information in a Remedy database
-The role may require the candidate to in addition to taking phone calls during a regular scheduled shift be able to provide on call support nights and weekends according to a preset schedule
Requirements/ Qualifications
-Knowledge of video technologies, the cable tv industry, mpeg, ip networking, Microsoft windows, linux are helpful in this position
-Additionally the position requires strong anlytical skills, strong communication skills and a customer focus
-Good English
-2-3 years working experience in reputable English Environment Company
-Reputable known University
