Title: Regional Compliance Manager, China.
Role: Execute strategies to ensure the revenue generation of HDMI's License Compliance program. Research and identify non-licensed users (non-adopters) and influence non-adopters to convert. Brand protection through trade show enforcement partnering with large retail chains as well as coordination with custom authorities. Education of adopters for royalty reporting, and trademark and logo for discount.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
" Attend trade shows
" To identify non-adopters and coordinate trade show enforcement.
" Funnel non-adopters information to corporate through maintenance of database.
" Strong understanding of the marketplace leading to identification of potential non-adopters.
" Visiting factories and manufacturing locations where unlicensed use takes place.
" Close coordination with adopters to identify non-adopters.
" Convert non-adopters to licensed adopters through education as well as skillful persuasion.
" Meet adopters frequently to :
" Educate on the latest trademark and logo usage requirements
" Educate adopters on proper royalty reporting procedures.
" Working with corporate to coordinate raids and customs seizures.
" Coordinate and present trademark and brand protection presentations at Customs and law enforcement trainings.
" Audit support:
" Pre-audit analysis - general product analysis of licensees to be selected for audits, diligence on cross sales of and between components/technologies of licensees and their related entities under review
" Identifying audit candidates - funneling intelligence for selection of audit targets based on intelligence collected as part of activities listed earlier.
" Post Audit Trademark and Logo training and support where needed.
" Collections support - Work with AR/Royalty Team to assist with outstanding balances due
" Collaborates on best practices and drives License Compliance strategies with other geographies, recognize cultural sensitivity and adjust programs to local culture.

Salary package: RMB 400-500K/year
