i have very high respect for you, but i cannot agree with you on this because
say you paid off all your debts on the acquired assets... what do you you do when all amortizations are done, you have the whole thing to you, but right then or even before then you may need to upgrade the system to update your production capacity & capability as to stay on top in the market/industry....
sure you can use it as a mortgage to get more loans from banks...but
software industry also have a good will as asset (if operated with a success)
i do not favor any one over another, just do not think getting into manufacturing for this...something looks good on the book, but not really mean much unless you know what you can do with them...
you would only be able to sell a factory for a good price if there is a good potential backed up by market, otherwise who needs the equipment that cannot turn into a cash cow?
