不知为什么，第一次最为印象深刻第听迈克杰克逊的歌，是从VOA中听到的“We are the world"，是与很多明星一起为非洲饥饿儿童演唱的。（刚刚查了维基，是1985年）

但是，虽然是在封闭的中国，其实之前就知道迈克和他的歌。记得有次学校音乐会上，还有歌手翻唱“Beat it”，而我校可爱的报幕女生，绰号“小鹿纯子”的同学，将歌名报为“打它”！（应该是“滚开”）

虽然是天王巨星，但我来美之后，作为电视迷，眼见媒体所报道的90年代中的迈克，却总是风波重重，不断整形、皮肤白化、多次恋童麻烦与官司、财务纠纷。。。
相形之下，我所不待见的麦当娜，却是步步高升，财源滚滚。

一代巨星，总算是去了永远的“neverland”，也不再有机会复出环球演唱了。
也许，作为早熟的艺术明星，一早就功成名就，似乎不用等到50，可以更早而去，比如邓丽君、梦露、戴安娜等，早日一了百了，避免暮年的痛苦。
